Hi. I'm Mike.
Over the past thirty years, I have been an English teacher, literacy specialist, and Response to Intervention (RtI) Coordinator. After helping hundreds of my AP Lang students with the college application process, I started College Quest Consulting to help students navigate the emotionally fraught world of college admissions (and hopefully have some fun along the way.)

Student Interest Survey
I take the time to get to know each of my clients personally. Part of that process involves a personal interest inventory that helps me get acquainted with a student's strengths, challenges, and priorities when it comes to choosing which college or university setting will be the best fit for them.

Customized College List
After taking the survey and discussing a variety of interests and priorities, I will come up with a customized list of higher education choices for the student to consider. We will keep working together until that list is a solid reflection of the student's unique personality and academic passions.

College Application Essay Support
College Quest students can get personalized support on their college application essays throughout the writing process. As a former AP English Language and Composition teacher, I always try to provide meaningful feedback that will provide admissions counselors with an authentic look at a student's unique gifts.

College Financial Coaching
As the student considers educational options, I will assist with filling out FAFSA as well as discussing college financing options.
